No doubt about this, it’s been a while since we’ve tuned into a spring training game with so much anticipation. Phillies LEGEND Bryce Harper made his 2019 Phillies debut this afternoon in what was a beautiful day for a game.
The Phillies decided to raise the bar by having Brian Dawkins introduce the Phillies as a whole. Dawkins also spoke to the team, pre-game.
Now to the main attraction, Bryce Harper! Very cool to see his name posted for the first time in the lineup card.

Harper was the DH and only saw two at-bats. Both times he walked, but we saw what happens when you pitch around Harper – you still have to deal with one of the better long ball hitters in the game, Rhys Hoskins.

After Harper was pulled, I checked out. No way can I hear T-Mac and co. talk about future promos for seven innings. Harper will be back on the field on Monday and might see some action in right field come Friday.
