Another day, and more notable news coming out about the dumpster fire that is know as the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2015-2016 season.
Chip Kelly hopped on a conference call with the Detroit media yesterday and was asked about the possibility of him heading back to coach college football. We’ve become used to Chip shooting those rumors down immediately. Well, things went a tad differently this time around. We aren’t saying that he supported the rumors, but he definitely didn’t shoot them down in the way that we are used to hearing.
Here is how the brief exchange went:

Again, he didn’t really support the idea, but he also didn’t give the usual answer we’ve become accustomed to.
There’s been a lot of speculation, not only this year, that with all of the job openings in college football at big time universities lately that Kelly would consider going back to college, with the most notable being the reportedly soon-to-be open head coaching position at LSU.
It seems that the only thing that could save Chip’s job in Philadelphia is not safe, and may no longer be all that interesting to him.
Will he bolt? Do you want him to? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
