It was ICON VS. ICON at WCW Starrcade 1996, as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper made his in-ring debut for World Championship Wrestling against “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan so we could finally find out who the REAL icon was. Of course, silly ol’ me, as well as a bunch of others, thought this match was for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, even though WCW never explicitly stated that it was.
Join me and Vaughn as we dive deep into all the happenings of not only Piper vs. Hogan, but an incredible undercard featuring Dean Malenko vs. Último Dragón with NINE TITLES on the line, and Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Jushin Thunder Liger.
