As the weeks move on, the more and more Eagles fans probably regret the signing of DeMarco Murray to replace LeSean McCoy in Chip Kelly’s backfield. From an anonymous player calling out Murray for not giving enough effort to Murray being benched in New England to the running back conveniently sitting next to Jeffrey Lurie on the plane ride home and throwing his head coach and running backs coach under the bus, the honeymoon with Murray is most definitely over.
It sounds like Murray’s already made his decision of where his career will take him next. There was a report earlier this week that he was trying to get himself cut from the Eagles, and he responded by saying that wasn’t true and that he 100% wants to be in Philadelphia. If that’s true, then he’s planning on using pretty much all of his airline miles because he’s building a permanent home in Dallas.

Chip Kelly just bought a house in Haddonfield. It seems like he’s staying here for a while. Murray? Not so much.
