The Doug Pederson era begins with a home game against the Cleveland Browns at 1:00 P.M. on Sept. 11. It’s the second time in five years that the Eagles will open their slate against the Browns. They kicked off the 2012 campaign in Cleveland, a game the Eagles won 17-16.

The Birds had seven primetime games in 2015 and six in 2014, but only have four scheduled for the upcoming season.

Philadelphia has a pair of Monday Night Football tilts, one in Chicago in Week 2 against the Bears on Sept. 19 and a home showdown against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12 on Nov. 28. The Eagles will be in Dallas for a Sunday Night Football clash against the Cowboys in Week 8 on Oct. 30 and at home against the New York Giants for a Thursday Night Football tussle in Week 16 on Dec. 22.

In other notable matchups, the Eagles close the season at home against Dallas on Jan. 1 in a potential do-or-die showdown for the NFC East. They will play the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in Week 3 at 4:25 P.M. on Sept. 25 and visit Seattle for a Week 11 confrontation against the Seahawks at 4:25 PM on Nov. 20.

The bye week comes in Week 4 and Philly faces a tough stretch after where it plays four road games in five weeks.

The Eagles have the seventh easiest schedule in the league based on 2015 records.
