Chip Franklin, a host on San Francisco’s 810 AM KGO station, said on Friday [before Tim Tebow was cut from the Eagles] he would rather have Tebow quarterbacking his NFL team compared to Tom Brady. He cites Tebow being a “gamer” and having the presence on and off the field that Brady doesn’t. I’m not making this up.
We know how fantastic sports talk radio can be at times, but the moments to follow were radio gold.
Brady, Sr. called into the show to eviscerate not only the radio host, but also the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell.
