It’s been real, Matthew. Given Chip’s fascination with keeping three QB’s on the roster, this almost confirms Tim Tebow’s roster spot. Almost.
According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles will get a 7th round draft pick if Barkley remains on the Cardinals’ roster for six games.
…
By the way, I think Sean will miss Matt.

UPDATE: ESPN’s Dianna Russini first reported yesterday the Eagles and Dolphins were discussing a trade involving Barkley. She reported the Dolphins offered a fifth-round draft pick for Barkley, but the Eagles said no and wanted a fourth-round pick.
Brandon Gowton from Bleeding Green Nation doesn’t believe Russini’s report, and actually says the Dolphins were the team to pull out of a possible deal involving Barkley. Gowton makes sense, because there’s nothing to remotely suggest Barkley was worth anything more than a high seventh-round draft pick, and the Eagles might not even get the Cardinals’ pick because it comes with the condition Barkley must remain on Arizona’s roster for at least six games. Russini is sticking by her report.
