Lane Johnson, fresh off what sounded like him taking shots at the Eagles faithful, went on 94WIP today with Josh Innes and tried to explain his comments. Here’s the full interview below:

A couple interesting things here:
-Johnson says his comments about the fans not caring was meant that they don’t care if the team is tied 7-7 or losing 45-17 when they boo. They’ll boo whenever. And he’s not wrong. But, then again, the Eagles have given the fans literally nothing to cheer for the last two home games. And I was at one of them.
-He’s not sure if Chip Kelly returns next season when Innes asks him. Isn’t that an automatic “yes”?
-He wasn’t the anonymous player to throw DeMarco Murray under the bus.
-He admits players aren’t happy in the locker room, but says that’s normal when they’re not winning.
-The Eagles are a family and the stuff that’s currently going on in their locker room only happens with teams that aren’t a family. Welp.
