Seth Joyner has been a godsend for Comcast SportsNet because he just doesn’t filter himself. Speaking on Breakfast on Broad this morning, Joyner basically called DeMarco Murray a coward for sliding instead of trying to net extra yards.
Not only did Joyner have those choice words for Murray, but he also thinks he knows who threw him under the bus after the game.

McLane clearly says it wasn’t Kelce, but it could be him covering his own ass, or he could be telling the truth. So, who do you think dimed out Murray? For one, could it be Zach Ertz? The kid went down trying for more yards. But, concussed players usually are unavailable to the media after the game. So, could it be his tight end counterpart, Brent Celek? He certainly has a voice on this team. Jason Peters was Rob Ellis’ first guess, and he’s just as plausible a voice on this team as any at this point.
So, who do you think it is that called out Murray in the locker room? Here are the Philly Influencer team guesses.
@PHLAnon: Brent Celek. Jason Kelce all season has been down on himself and his performances, so I don;t see him right now calling out other teammates. Celek is a veteran leader on this team, who saw his fellow TE, Zach Ertz, go down earlier in the game putting in the extra effort for a few extra yards. I think not fighting through the whistle and for the extra yards would drive a guy like Celek nuts. Also, keep in mind Celek is often times used to block, so seeing the guy he’s blocking for not put forth 100% effort would also rub him the wrong way.
@ViggieSmalls765: Darren Sproles. Sproles is frustrated with his role on the team, hasn’t gotten the touches he feels he deserves, and is now watching the guy in front of him half-assing it. Sproles goes 100% at all times, and wants to get more touches. We’ve got some RB-by-committee drama!!!
@nickpiccone: Jason Peters. He’s been hurt, frustrated, has refused to be a backup, and is now sick of people not going full throttle the entire game. He’s blocking his ass off, just to see his RB not do everything he can to pick up the extra yards. Big man is pissed.
@sean_brace: Brent Celek. Just a hunch here. Celek has the feel to me that he’d talk behind your back. Just add another player to the laundry list of players having issues this season.
