IT’S UNRAVELING QUICKER THAN A SPEEDING HICCUP!
Today, Jeff McLane wrote that an anonymous Eagles player questioned DeMarco Murray’s effort. I mean, I can see why someone might think that, but I don’t share in that sentiment. Later on, some Eagles players responded to it. [NJ.com]
“Somebody said that?” Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson said following Monday’s practice. “Hell no. Everytime DeMarco’s on the field, he seems like he’s going hard to me. I don’t know who said that, but they’re wrong.
“Whenever we lose there’s always going to be finger-pointing and someone trying to break up the team. That’s just part of it. So, the only thing we can do is try to make the most out of what we have, as [crappy] as it is. We just have to go out there Thursday and try to get a win. That would be really good for us.”
…
“No man,” Eagles outside linebacker Brandon Graham told NJ Advance Media Monday when asked about the Inquirer report. “Whoever gave you that information is some bull [crap]. I don’t sense that.
“We’re out there. Everybody has a job to do. Nobody wants to put out bad film. Nobody’s going to quit. That would be stupid if you’re out there quitting. You’re not just auditioning for us, you’re auditioning for every team out there because all of us are just renting the space right here.”
YAY THANKSGIVING IS SOON!
