According to Chat Sports, the Cleveland Browns are preparing to fire head coach Mike Pettine and offer Ohio State’s Urban Meyer the largest coaching contract in NFL History. According to the report, Meyer would have gone to Cleveland in the past, if he won the national title at Ohio State sooner. The Browns are a disaster right now, as they’re tied for the worst record in the NFL with the Titans. We’ve been documenting the Johnny Manziel disaster that has plagued the Browns all year.
According to Mack Ferguson of Chat Sports, his sources are adamant that the Browns “have an air of confidence that Meyer will be their guy in a matter of weeks.” If Meyer to Cleveland happens that would be huge. It would have major ramifications for Ohio State, their conference, the NCAA and obviously the Browns. Perhaps, Cleveland football fans would finally have something to look forward to.

Ferguson would go on to say that he didn’t know Meyer’s thoughts on running the Browns. One would think that Meyer would possibly be intrigued by that notion, but only time will tell.
