Chip Kelly had stated that he wanted quarterback Sam Bradford back next season. However, Chip Kelly is now out of here. So, where exactly does that leave Bradford?
Bradford was asked whether he still wanted to come back to Philadelphia now that Kelly is gone. Curious minds want to know. Here’s what Bradford had to say, via CSN.
Yeah. I still enjoy the guys on this team. I enjoy the city. I’ve enjoyed my time here. I think, obviously, a lot of it depends on who they hire as a coach and what kind of offensive scheme he wants to run.”
It certainly sounds like Bradford is unsure of whether he’ll be back. Here’s the video of Bradford taking questions from reporters.
Bradford didn’t exactly look amazing this year, but he’s improved drastically since the beginning of the season, so only time will tell where he ends up. Ultimately though, Philly may end up being the best fit for Bradford regardless of who the coach is.
Then again, if the Eagles decide to franchise tag him, he’ll have no choice.
