Could the coaching search be a short one? Dianna Russini of ESPN tweeted out yesterday that the Bears’ offensive coordinator, Adam Gase, will be coming to Philly to interview for the head coaching vacancy. If you’ll remember, we mentioned that Gase was a target for the Eagles before the rumors of Doug Pederson started heating up.
Adam Gase will interview in Philly & Miami in a few days. Also told once Pettine is let go, Gase will interview in Cleveland per sources

I would be thrilled if the Eagles hired Gase. I think Gase is an extremely smart guy [not just because of Peyton Manning] who has a tendency for getting the best out of quarterbacks. Bears tight end Martellus Bennett seems to agree with me:
I feel like I get to do everything that’s in my repertoire now. Everything I’ve shown them I can do, they find a way to use it. They don’t just stick you in a role. They craft a role for each guy when they see what you can and can’t do; use the things you do well and limit using the ones you don’t. They craft the role to the player rather than the player to the role. Which is empowering.”
Remember who else you could say that about? Andy Reid. He had a pretty good run for a long time here. Gase is expected to interview with the team Tuesday. Pat Shurmur will interview with the team today.
Eagles will interview interim head coach Pat Shurmur on Monday and Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase on Tuesday, per @mortreport.

So, get ready everyone. Adam Gase may be the guy to come in and turn our Eagles around and get us back to winning!
Sorry Philly, my Dolphins swooped up Gase as there new Head Coach…. you should look into Lovie Smith. There’s a good fit right there.
Phins up!
