A former player that was coached by new Eagles’ defensive line coach Chris Wilson says that Wilson is one of the “craziest” coaches that he knows. Outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins was interviewed by PhillyVoice at the Senior Bowl and Jenkins had this to say when he heard Wilson’s name mentioned.
He just gets after it. His coaching style is that if you’re not playing up to par he’s going to let you know. He enjoys the game of football and loves pass rushing. He’s crazy. He loves players off the field, really cares about his players off the field, and he likes to see his players succeed, said Jenkins. He’s really enthusiastic. He’s really intense.”

That’s music to my ears. The Eagles’ defense gave up 23.6 points per game in 2015 to go along with 364.4 total yards per game last year under Billy Davis. I don’t think that this team is as far off as a lot of people think. Good coaching and a couple key additions to the Eagles’ team as a whole would work wonders for this team.
Maybe he’ll teach the entire back seven how to tackle, too.
Sounds perfect
