Eagles Agree on Contract Extension with Another Big Name

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Caplan, the Eagles and Lane Johnson have agreed to terms on a five-year extension.

Mike Garafalo states that the extension is with $35.5 million in guarantees, with a max value of $63 million.

This deal will go a long way in making sure that the offensive line isn’t the issue next year that it was this year. And maybe Johnson will come around on the fans during those five years.

UPDATE: The Eagles have confirmed this news. They also noted it’s actually a six-year extension, not a five-year one that was previously reported.

My goodness. That horrible attempt at trolling by Josh Inness is terrible. Nothing funny about it at all. Just flat out annoying. Music on the ipod wins!
