A Look Back at the Greatness of Leonardo DiCaprio

Really, the only question here is, “Seriously, what took so long?”

By my count, Leonardo DiCaprio has been due for an Oscar since he single-handedly held together 1995’s The Basketball Diaries (alongside Mark Wahlberg) as a then 20-year-old. The Academy may have taken a little while to come around, but that’s not exactly breaking news these days, now is it?

Anyway, for a quick look back on the greatness of Leo, here is one man’s top-15 list of his top flicks, in no particular order:

Titanic
The Aviator
The Departed
Blood Diamond
Inception
Shutter Island
The Wolf Of Wall Shtreet
Catch Me If You Can
The Beach
Gangs Of New York
The Basketball Diaries
J.Edgar
What’s Eating Gilbert Grape
The Great Gatsby

That’s all well and good. But without further ado, here is a more important list: Leo’s Top 15 women (via Elle) – also in no particular order:

Bridget Hall

According to a 1998 gossip item in The London Sun, Leo dumped the model—his very first!—after a "night of love" she found disappointing. (They had been seen "canoodling around New York" in 1994, People reports.) Bridget told New York Magazine in 1998 that "nothing happened" between them.

Brittany Daniel

Naomi Campbell

Helena Christensen

Natash Henstridge

Bijou Phillips

Eva Herzigova

Gisele Bündchen

Bar Refaeli

Blake Lively

Erin Heatherton

Toni Garrn

Kelly Rohrbach

Rihanna

Laura Whitmore

Come to think of it, why the hell am I memorializing this guy again?
