After reports surfaced yesterday that the Eagles had upped their offer to keep Sam Bradford, it seems to me that the Birds will NOT use pick number thirteen of the upcoming draft to select a quarterback. I believe it’s more likely that they will go with an offensive lineman in the first round. However, it can’t be ignored that the Eagles need to draft a young quarterback this year.
When we talk about the cream of the crop of quarterbacks in this year’s draft, we’re talking about Carson Wentz, Jared Groff and Paxton Lynch. One of the more knowledgeable guys around town that can talk Eagles football without making me want to tune out is Ray Didinger. Didinger was recently on the WIP Morning Show and gave his thoughts on who of the projected best three quarterbacks he would take if he were the Eagles in the first round. Here’s what Ray Diddy had to say, courtesy of CBS Philly.
The same Ray Didinger that said when it’s all said and done, Chip Kelly will have a more successful career as an Eagles coach than Andy Reid, and we’re supposed to respect his opinion as a so-called expert on football.
Ray Diddy has been wrong a lot lately
