Johnny Manziel has had one hell of a career in the NFL off the field. Trouble just seems to follow him around and that’s because he clearly has maturity issues. His excessive boozing and partying is one thing, but the alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend is truly troubling.
Things may have just gotten worse for Manziel. Yesterday, the Dallas Police Department told the press that they obtained surveillance video of the alleged altercation. However, they refused to provide further details about the video. ESPN.com writer Pat McManamon reported Dallas police Maj. Midge Boyle’s statement:
“There has been no determination as to what charge, if any, will be filed against Mr. Manziel.” She also stated that the police have spoken to Crowley, along with other witnesses, but “have not spoken yet to Manziel.”
Manziel’s ex-girlfriend provided a statement to Rebecca Lopez, Reporter at WFAA_TV.

Just when you think the Manziel saga is over, he pops up in the news again. This surveillance video could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back in his short NFL career. Though a stint on the Cowboys is not out of the question because Jerry Jones is a fan of Manziel. This alleged assault probably only makes Manziel more attractive to Jones, since Jones tends to have a thing for players that assault women.
