The Eagles have made pretty damn big decision that could negatively impact the upcoming NFL draft. According to Eliot Shorr-Parks and first reported by FootballScoop.com, the team has parted ways with their College Scouting Director, Matt Lindsey. Wait, what?
I’m not a rocket scientist, but that doesn’t sound like a good thing to do, especially two months before a draft. This move has the stench of Howie Roseman all over it. Here was Lindsey’s role as College Scouting Director defined on the Eagles website, per Parks: “In his role as college scouting coordinator, Lindsey serves as the liaison between the scouting staff and the front office and will handle day-to-day scheduling and organization of the scouting efforts for college all-star games, the NFL Combine as well as on-campus visits.”
Maybe this is good. Maybe this is bad, but I certainly don’t like a move like this being made so close to the draft. Is this just another power play by Roseman to gain more control in the decision making process? I think so. Now more than ever the Eagles really need to nail this draft and just when I had convinced myself that things may be headed in the right direction, this news breaks. I now am uneasy about this draft.

For you idiots that love to blame everything in chip. Chip did not hire scouts,he didn’t do contracts either. Who’s fault will it be when this team is still screwed up? Chips? Howie mandel foreman is this franchises downfall.
