According to former Eagle turned SportsRadio 94WIP host Hollis Thomas, LeSean McCoy is not as innocent as his new attorney would like you to believe. Per Thomas, five “independent” sources have told him that McCoy “sucker punched” the off-duty police officer at Recess lounge in early February. The incident allegedly was started over a bottle of champagne.
There’s a report that the district attorney is “pushing back” on an arrest warrant for McCoy. There seems to be a bunch of things at play here, so I’m not certain that we’ll ever get a clear answer on what exactly started the brawl. I’m starting to get the feeling that this will eventually be swept under the rug.
