The busy offseason for the Phillies continued today with the announcement that they have acquired infielder Taylor Featherston from the Los Angeles Angels for cash and a player to be named later.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Featherston, the Phillies designated reliever Bobby LaFromboise for assignment. New Phillies General Manager Matt Klentak, a former Angels assistant GM knows all about Featherston from his time within the Angels organization.
I like where things are going for the Phillies under Klentak.
Oh Great, We Get Another Angels Reject cause Klentak wants to make him look good so he doesn’t look bad for getting him in Anaheim in the first place. Bourjos Angels hit .200. OF from Orioles where Klentek used to work hit .200. Where is the analytics when you just sign busts from where you used to work?
