A Huge Trade Is in the Works for the Eagles

According to NFL Network Insider, Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are in active trade talks with the Miami Dolphins that would send cornerback Byron Maxwell to Miami from the Birds. The Eagles just gave Maxwell a six-year, $63 million deal last year, so this is an interesting turn of events.

It’s not known at this time what the Eagles would receive in return for Maxwell, but this story is moving quickly, so be sure to keep it locked for the latest updates.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter says Kiko Alonso is gonna be included in the deal.

And they’re killing the Eagles on ESPN.

Editor’s note: This is certainly a Howie Roseman power play as he likely wants to move Maxwell to make room for a huge contract for Fletcher Cox. That’s not any report, that’s just my opinion. This would also allow the Eagles to re-sign Walter Thurmond and Nolan Carroll, who both had a solid years.

What GM would take Chimp Kelly’s Trash? Throw in Demarco (Who dives to the ground or runs outta bounds to avoid hits) Murray too…

Herm Edwards should change is name to “Captain Wrong”.

He picked up a fumble about 40 years ago. And he has not been right about anything since then.
