Just when you think that Jerry Jones couldn’t be more of an Ass Clown, he always proves us wrong. I thought when he signed and publicly supported known woman beater Greg Hardy that he’d be done with the foolishness, but I was wrong. There has been a ton of talk recently of whether there’s a link between CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) and football. In fact, a league official came out and admitted (though not approved by the NFL) recently that there’s “certainly” a link between the two.
But we all know that Commissioner Goodell and the Owners work hand in hand to ensure that each other stay rich. So with Jones being one of the more prominent owners in the league, we can’t be too shocked to hear him come out as a Goodell minion and play stupid on the issue. After all, to admit that there is a connection between the two would risk money potentially coming out of their pockets.
According to Sports Illustrated, Jones came out and told reporters that “there was not enough data to establish a relationship between the degenerative brain disease, linked to repeated hits to the head, and the game of football.” Jones’ statement was also confirmed by Daniel Kaplan, the NFL Reporter for Sports Business Journal.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters it's absurd 2 say there's a relationship betwn CTE and playing football, saying not enough data

So because he claims there’s not enough data the problem doesn’t exist? GTFOH! One would think that with more and more lawsuits being filed from former players against the NFL that Goodell and the Owners would really take this matter seriously. Lives are at stake. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that if your head continues to take hits to it that eventually people will run into brain injuries. To deny this fact is dumb and downright irresponsible. You sir, Jerry Jones are an A-Hole!
