It’s official! Pope Francis has an Instagram account, and I am still explaining what a search engine is to my dad. His Holiness has already reached 1.5 million followers. His first photo featured him kneeling in prayer with the caption “Pray for me” in nine different languages.

I am praying that he will learn to use it on his own (since I’m assuming he has help) and we start getting blurry photos with bad filters. Showing that he is a real leader, Pope Francis has not followed anyone back…yet.
