Merrill Reese is a fixture in this city. He’s not only the voice of the Eagles, as he does many other great things around Philly. But, yesterday, when he joined The Josh Innes Show on 94WIP to talk about various things, he said he expects Sam Bradford will be the Eagles’ starter this coming season. When Merrill talks, we listen.

Reese definitely is familiar with the pulse of the team and the front office, so somebody’s gotta be telling him something. I don’t think the team expects to be blown away by trade offers for Bradford, so they intend on keeping him. Which is a smart move. And with Reese saying he doesn’t think Bradford has it in him to be a distraction, I can’t figure out if he’s taking a shot at him or if he’s trying to build up his character. But, Reese’s comments were interesting.
What do you think? Will Bradford be back next season?
