Let’s crank up that trade rumor machine again!
The Cleveland Browns are possibly looking to trade out of the two spot in next week’s NFL Draft and are initiating calls with teams inside the top ten, according to a report by Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. The Philadelphia Eagles, who reportedly finished as the runner-ups in the No. 1 pick sweepstakes, appear to be a trade partner.

The Tennessee Titans dealt the top pick in the draft along with their fourth (No. 113) and sixth-round (177) picks to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for their first-round (15), both of their second round (43 and 45) and third-round selection (76) in 2016 along with a first and a third next year.
This was the reported package the Eagles put together for the Titans.

The market has already been set and a potential trade package emerged on Twitter Tuesday night.

There have been conflicting reports about whether the Rams will select North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz or California’s Jared Goff with the top pick.

1 – I would take Goff
2 – Everything I'm hearing says Goff will be the pick at #1@DHaines1— Matt Miller (@nfldraftscout) April 14, 2016
Multiple sources : Goff is now THE guy among teams wanting QB. Rams knew/heard that. Had to move up

To reiterate — Rams are leaning toward Carson Wentz but Jared Goff still heavily in the mix. Will turn over every stone. Definitely a QB.

The Browns, meanwhile, reportedly prefer Goff and might possibly be interested in acquiring more draft compensation if the Rams take him.
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson apparently “loves” Carson Wentz and said “anything is possible” when asked if Philly would trade up in next week’s draft to select whomever the Rams don’t take at No. 1 while meeting with reporters Monday.
Pederson stated that Goff and Wentz are “pretty even” and there’s “not much separation” between the two.
“From all the physical tools, both of them are extremely gifted there,” he said. “They have good arm strength, mobility, obviously Carson is a little bigger, maybe a little better athlete right now.”
Pederson added, “I like him. He’s got everything you want in a quarterback at this level. You never know. Quarterback is a unique position at the National Football League level. Guys come in here and there’s an expectation level that they have, there’s an expectation level that we have as a coaching staff. I like him, I like his arm strength, his mobility, he’s a bigger kid. I think he’s got all the tools to be an NFL quarterback.”
If you’re the Browns and you’re as bad as they are and if they do indeed prefer Goff, why not and try to acquire a similar haul to what the Titans just received?
It would make Wentz.
Sorry, couldn’t help myself.
