Video: Scott Laughton Was Stretchered off the Ice after Going Awkwardly into the Boards

The Flyers are fighting for their playoff lives tonight at the Wells Fargo Center against the Washington Capitals. But there was a scary moment in the first period that saw Scott Laughton falling into the boards awkwardly and lay motionless on the ice as play was stopped.

Here’s what happened:

It didn’t look like a dirty hit or shove from John Carlson. It just looked like an unfortunate accident.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott and his family.
