The focus on this Top 40 Most Hated NFL Players of all-time list, compiled by Sporting News, was that the players were hated while they were on the field. That hate could be for any number of reasons. It could be a dirty player. A selfish player. A greedy player. A player who had off-field issues. Or a player who simply annoyed us. However, I think we’ll agree some other names should be on this list… including every Cowboy to ever play.

How does someone hate the nicest man to ever be on Earth, Tim Tebow? Hating Tebow more than hating the likes of Lawrence Taylor, Vontaze Burfict and Rodney Harrison, just to name a few? That makes zero sense to me. Also, Greg Hardy should sit at number one on this list forever. He’s a piece of shit!
