Drouin spoke after the game and acknowledged that Hickey’s hit was clean.
The Lightning tied the game at 4-4 with 38.4 seconds remaining in regulation and would go onto win it in overtime, conveniently enough after Brian Boyle disposed of Hickey with his own big hit.
