Last night, Twitter user (@mikemaro29) tweeted at Howard Eskin a picture of Fletcher Cox apparently boarding a plane bound for Philly.
There’s absolutely no way to confirm the picture was taken Sunday night or if the plane was bound for Philly. But, mandatory OTAs begin tomorrow and all players are required to report today or risk getting fined. Cox, who’s reportedly holding out until a new contract is agreed upon, will make over $7 million in base salary this season, so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he was to sit out these mandatory OTAs while the two sides work on a contract extension.
For what it’s worth, Howie Roseman has said publicly more than once the team will re-sign Cox.
