Nolan Carroll was having a career year until breaking his ankle on Turkey Day.
Carroll started the first 11 games for the Philadelphia Eagles before suffering his injury against the Detroit Lions. The 29-year-old recorded 57 tackles to go with a pair of interceptions a year ago.
Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz spoke about Carroll’s progress during Tuesday’s press conference.
Carroll, who signed a one-year deal with the Eagles during the offseason, will compete for a starting spot at cornerback during Training Camp and the preseason.
