What I look for in a 4-3 Defensive End:
Athleticism- Staying low to the ground and showcasing flexibility to bend and get around the edge, quickness to move laterally and dropping back in coverage.
Moves- Having different tricks in your arsenal to set up the tackle, keep him off-balanced and get to the quarterback. There’s moves such as the spin, swim, head slap, dip and bull rush.
Strength- Maintaining leverage, clogging running lanes and holding your own against double teams.
