Ryan Mathews practiced fully during Saturday’s session for the first time since sustaining an ankle injury a few weeks ago.
According to Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich, Mathews looked explosive.
The injury-prone Mathews was second among running backs in average per carry (5.1) last year, totaling 539 yards and six touchdowns. He’s played all 16 games in a season just once so far in his six-year career.
