The Philadelphia Eagles appear to have accepted that Lane Johnson will be issued a 10-game suspension.
According to Tom Rock of Newsday Sports, the Eagles have reached out to former New York Giants tackle Will Beatty.
The injury-prone 31-year-old Beatty, who was released by the Giants during the offseason, missed the entire 2015 campaign due to a torn triceps. With the way the backup tackles looked during Thursday’s preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, giving Beatty a shot doesn’t hurt.
