The depth has been discussed ad nauseam, and the rumors have been discussed ever since the offseason began. Well, it looks like the Eagles may be about to make the long-rumored move.
According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles and free agent linebacker Stephen Tulloch are in “heavy negotiations.”
We will provide more information as we have it, but this could be a nice one-year signing to add much needed depth, knowledge of the defense, and leadership in the locker room. Chip would be proud… building culture.
If Tulloch does sign, he’ll join Najee Goode, Quentin Gause, Deontae Skinner, Joe Walker and Myke Tavarres as depth pieces behind the starting trio of Nigel Bradham, Jordan Hicks and Mychal Kendricks.
UPDATE: For what it’s worth, Benjamin Allbright is reporting the framework of the deal is agreed upon and details are being worked out.
UPDATE II: Les Bowen reports nothing seems to be imminent at this point.
