The Philadelphia Eagles signed cornerback JaCorey Shepherd to the practice squad on Wednesday, while releasing guard Darrell Greene from the 10-man squad.

Shepherd was a sixth-round pick by the Eagles last year and in position to see a lot of time in the slot position before tearing his ACL. He did not make the final cuts this past summer.
With the injury to Leodis McKelvin, the Birds have just three healthy cornerbacks on the main roster; Nolan Carroll, Jalen Mills and Ron Brooks. C.J. Smith is another corner currently on the practice squad.
