Eagles Make Three Waiver Claims

The Philadelphia Eagles first 53-man roster was unveiled Saturday afternoon, but there’ll be plenty of tinkering as the season goes along.

The Eagles claimed a trio of players on Sunday, including linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, defensive back Terrence Brooks and wide receiver Bryce Treggs.

Philadelphia’s corresponding roster moves are not yet known.

The Eastern Illinois product Grugier-Hill was a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots. The Eagles only kept four linebackers and Howie Roseman explained during his press conference Saturday that the team would be looking for one.

Brooks was a third-round pick in 2014, while Treggs is an undrafted speedster that can stretch the field.
