Here’s Your Chance to Win $10,000 By Kicking a Field Goal at an Eagles Game

On Thursday, the “Santander Field Goal Challenge” festivities kicked off – literally – with a media competition at the NovaCare Complex. Yours truly was in attendance and made a 5-yarder look like a cakewalk. It wasn’t until I was faced with the dreaded 10-yarder that made me almost beg for a re-kick because Howard Eskin’s presence distracted me.

No, he wasn’t wearing a fur coat.

Eliot Shorr-Parks took the honors and won $2,500 for a school of his choice as well as bragging rights for another year. Jimmy Kempski – the boy with the golden shoes – hooked a kick wide left [hey, sounds familiar] and left the remaining contestants shocked. Shorr-Parks was calm, cool and collected the whole way.

But now it’s your chance to join in the fun. For the third consecutive year, Santander Bank and the Eagles are teaming up to give you, the fan, a chance at winning $10,000 for your own personal use as well as an additional $10,000 to be donated to a regional K-12 school of your choice. If you can kick a 30-yard field goal – something Alex Henery wasn’t very good at – you’ll be immortalized in the annals of Lincoln Financial Field lore.

You can enter here. One contestant will be selected per day from now through October 31, with the winners participating in the “Santander Field Goal Challenge Tryouts” at the sight of yesterday’s disaster, the NovaCare Complex, the week if November 14. One finalist will emerge from that head-to-head series and look to make history on December 11 as the Eagles host the Redskins.

Six weekly winners will get a signed 2016 Eagles jersey.

This chance is only available to legal residents of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.

Good luck!
