There haven’t been many meaningful games at Citizens Bank Park the last few years, but this weekend will be an exception. One of the greatest Phillies to ever step onto the field will likely be having his last at-bats as a Phillie. Ryan Howard’s days as a Phillie are almost over, so what better way to show your support for The Big Piece than showing him the proper respect? Midway through this season, I reversed course on Howard because it was clear the Phillies wouldn’t get anything substantial in return for him, so I just decided to enjoy his final season as a Phillie. And we’re almost at the end.
Howard will be starting each of the last three games.
