After LeSean McCoy was officially not charged by the Philadelphia district attorney, Seth Williams, back in July for a February nightclub brawl in Philly, some thought that’d be it regarding the story and everything would be relegated to the past.
Not so fast.
According to a civil lawsuit filed against McCoy this morning by the two off-duty Philly cops who were injured in that brawl, Fortunato N. Perri Jr., who is representing the cops, said his investigation has “confirmed that [officers] Darnell Jessie and Roland Butler were viciously attacked and beaten by LeSean McCoy and the additional defendants. As a result of the violent assault, both men have suffered serious and permanent injuries.”
The cops are also suing Recess Lounge.
We’ll keep track of this story as it develops.
