Doug Pederson Wants the Eagles to Trust the Process

Damn, Doug. You gone done did it.

In a speech to his team after last night’s drubbing of the Chicago Bears, Doug Pederson told the Eagles’ locker room to trust the process. He really did.

“From the bottom of my heart, the way you guys prepared the last two weeks, okay, is gonna carry you a long, long way. Keep just grinding every single day. Every single day.

“Wins are hard in the National Football League, as you found out how hard they can be. But when you stick together, stick and trust your plan, trust the process, what’d I tell you at the beginning of the week? What’s the byproduct of all that? To win games. To win games. That’s what you did tonight.

“Both sides of the ball dominated the line of scrimmage. Both sides. Both sides. Alright? Great job. I’m proud of every one of you. Coaches, players, everybody. Hey, National Football League – nobody said it was gonna be easy. Nobody said it was gonna be easy. OK? You gotta earn everything. And you did that tonight. I’m proud of you. Congratulations. Hey, let’s get on that plane, let’s roll.”

Oh no! Not those two words! Please God, don’t let Hinkie be involved with this team! I don’t want to hear “Process”, “assets”, or see us trade guys away for an abundance of 7th round picks!
