President Obama is in Philly today campaigning for an ill Hillary Clinton. He mentioned how Joe Biden told him to hop on the Wentz Wagon, and he also said he was in town to scout Carson Wentz as the Eagles play Obama’s Chicago Bears next Monday night.
He got booed. Naturally.

“Some of you may have seen Joe Biden at the Eagles game. He told me, ‘Barack, you’ve gotta get on the Wentz Wagon! They’ve got a new quarterback. We’ve got hope in Philly.’ And I had to explain that I am a Bears fan. [Boos.] And we play Philly next Monday night! So I’ve gotta stick with my team, but I am going to go to Philly and scout what all of the fuss is about.”
It seems like he took it all in jest. Which it probably was. But watch the national media take this one and go bonkers with it. Sort of like my headline did.
