Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Eagles and Chip Kelly’s San Francisco 49ers have been in discussions regarding a trade for wide receiver Torrey Smith.

Smith played for the Baltimore Ravens before signing with San Francisco. He has 13 receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns in seven games this season. He’d still be an upgrade to the receiving corps.
And we’re used to seeing Chip’s former players perform well and, hell, even win Super Bowls. So, why the hell not?
UPDATE: Jason La Canfora chimes in and says the Eagles could inquire about the Bears’ Alshon Jefferey. Looks like they realize they need some help desperately on the outside.
Wouldn't rule out the Eagles inquiring on Alshon Jeffery as well. Howie Roseman loves to make deals. Wentz needs weapons on the outside…
