The minutes aren’t increasing yet, but the production is.
Joel Embiid had 13 points and five rebounds in another 12-minute outing, but the Philadelphia 76ers were routed by the Memphis Grizzlies 121-91 in preseason action on Tuesday night.
Embiid was 3-of-7 from the floor, 7-of-8 from the foul line and 0-of-2 from beyond the arc in a game that wasn’t broadcasted in Philadelphia. His 13 points was a preseason high, a second game in a row in which he set one. You can view the Comcast SportsNet highlights below.

Dario Saric was held out of the game for rest. Timothe Luwawu matched Embiid’s team-high of 13 points and added nine rebounds and Gerald Henderson was the only one in double digits with 10 for the Sixers, who fell to 1-3 on the preseason.
Troy Williams led Memphis with 22 points and seven rebounds.
