Over the last few months, I have told you about the few experiences I’ve had with Verizon Fios. After my big move two weeks ago, I have a new chapter to add! When I bought my house, I was worried about the fact that Verizon Fios was going to be available. After a quick phone call, I came to find out that Fios is available all over Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. [Use this site for more details.] Since that was the case, I made an appointment to have Fios hooked up in my new home. Surprising to me, Fios was able to come three days after the call! You know for a fact that most cable providers need one to two weeks to schedule appointments. I was very happy to hear this. On moving day, Fios was inside hooking everything up and another surprise was that all of my DVR’d programs were not lost! A win across the board.
Look, we all want the same things when it comes to cable and internet providers. Good service, top-notch customer service and keeping up with everything new as far as technology is concerned and Verizon Fios does exactly that!
