It’s that time of the year again! The time you close your blinds, turn your lights off, and wait for your neighbors children to walk away from your door. It’s also time to party. Halloween weekend in Philadelphia is days away. Here’s a list of some great costume and exciting Halloween themed parties in the area. Friday, October 28th
1. Lucky Strike Vampire Vixens
Where: Lucky Strike Lounge and & Lanes, 1336 Chestnut St.
When: Friday, October 28th, 8PM
In its 11th year, this is one on Philadelphia’s longest running Halloween parties. There will be a DJs, drink specials, VIP open bar, and food specials. Best costume wins a trip to the Bahamas, sexiest costume wins a trip to Las Vegas, and best group costume wins $150. Prices range between $5-$10. Prices increase for groups and bottle service.

2. Xfinity Live Wicked
Where: Xfinity Live!, 1100 Pattison Ave.
When: Friday, October 28th, 8PM
Xfinity Live! transforms itself into six great Halloween themed party locations this Friday. There will be many food and drink specials, over $2,000 in costume prizes, and several DJs. The party is hosted by MC Jason and there will be several giveaways. General admission starts at $10. Alternative pricing for groups and bottle service.

3. Peter Sterling Halloween Ball
Where: Barra Rossa Ristorante, 929 Walnut St.
When: Friday, October 28th, 9PM
In its sixth year, the Peter Sterling Halloween Ball has something for everyone. There will be a live performance by Bev, a Dead Carpet, cash prizes for best costumes, drink specials, and an hour of light food. Tickets start at $35 and escalate based on group and VIP status.

4. The Devil’s Crawl
Where: Various Locations in Center City
When: Saturday, October 29th, 8PM
A ticket to this Halloween crawl takes care of your cover charge and gets you drink specials at 20+ locations. The Devil’s Crawl spans some of the top bars in Center City including; Field House, Tavern on Broad, McGillins Olde Ale House, Drinkers Pub, and more. Tickets available for $10.

5. Lucky Strike Heaven & Hell Halloween Party
Where: Lucky Strike Lounge and & Lanes, 1336 Chestnut St.

This is Lucky Strike’s second event of the Halloween weekend. Advanced tickets purchasers get their first drink covered. There will be drink specials from Miller Lite, Southern Comfort, Fireball, and more. The event will have cash prizes for costumes, tons of giveaways, and more. Tickets start at $10

6. Xfinity Live Nightmare on Broad St
Where: Xfinity Live!, 1100 Pattison Ave.
When: Saturday, October 29th, 8PM
Similar to their previous event Wicked, Xfinity Live! opens its doors for this Halloween blowout. Advance tickets are no longer available for purchase. Guest can enter for $10 at the door. There will be a live performance by Split Decision, great drink specials, cash prizes for costumes, and more.

7. Manyunk’s Haunted Brewery Bash
Where: Manayunk Brewery, 4120 Main St.
When: Saturday, October 29th, 8PM
This is one of the largest Halloween events in Manayunk. There will be craft beers, a light food buffet, DJ Entertainment, a costume contest, and many other drink specials. Passport Access allows you into four other parties in Manayunk. Tickets start at $10 or $7 for group.

8. Mad River Ghosts & Goblins
Where: Mad River, 4100 Main St.
When: Saturday, October 29th, 8PM
It’s the 9th year of Ghosts and Goblins. There will be over $500 in cash costume prizes. Saying the password “Passport” at the door, with the purchase of a ticket, gets you a free drink. There is a light food buffet, several drink specials, and free giveaways. Tickets start at $10 for individuals.

9. Walk The Dead Carpet
Where: The Cactus Cantina Restaurant and Bar, 4243 Main St.
When: Saturday, October 29th, 8PM
Staying in the Manayunk area, Walk the Dead Carpet asks attendees to come dressed as their favorite dead celebrity. There will be food, dancing, drink specials, and more. This is one of the several Passport Access events in Manayunk Saturday night. There is over $250 in prizes and giveaways. Tickets start at $5 currently.

Philadelphia mega nightclub Reserve goes high scale horror this Halloween weekend. ThrillHer will be a costume celebration that have DJ Caution and DJ HBK providing guests with a night like no other. It’s free admission before midnight and premium open bar from 10PM-11PM.

19. Halloween Day Party

Vango has both a day Halloween party this Sunday and a Henny Halloween party 8PM. For $10 you can listen to the best in hip hop and dance hall. There will be drink specials and cash prizes for best dressed. Stay for the evening party or come later to enjoy a great Sunday night rooftop party.

20. Day Of The Dead
