The 7’2 Cameroonian has taken the NBA by storm during his rookie season after missing his first two years following a pair of foot surgeries. Embiid has Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown’s vote, saying he needs to be “legitimately considered” for the game following a meeting with reporters following Monday’s shootaround.
“There is no doubt in my mind that he is in serious consideration for that. He hasn’t done much wrong for him not to be legitimately considered for that game.”

Embiid is averaging 18.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocker per game this season. He’s also shooting 46.8 percent from the floor and a remarkable 40.3 percent from beyond the arc.
