Nelson Agholor had a key 40-yard reception in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 24-19 win over the New York Giants on Thursday night, but is that one catch really going to help the struggling second-year wide receiver break out of his prolonged rut.
Defensive coordinator Frank Reich gave his thoughts on Agholor during his press conference on Tuesday.
I agree with Reich, one flash play doesn’t make up for two seasons worth of drops and ineptitude. I need to see sustained consistency before I even begin to say that Agholor has turned the corner.
40-yard TD from Wentz to Agholor. Agholor made sure to look that one all the way in. Nice throw from Wentz. @AdrianFedkiw pic.twitter.com/6r5JMuNnwz

It was a nice catch, though. It made Eagles fans forget about that drop he had earlier in the game.
Looks like that step backward isn't translating into any steps forward #DropItLikeItsHot @AdrianFedkiw pic.twitter.com/oDsvM8vsee
