Using the advice of Allen Iverson and playing every game like it’s your last, Joel Embiid heeded it when he dove into the stands for a loose ball early in the fourth quarter.

GOAT!
In a rookie season filled with indelible moments and highlights, Embiid might’ve put on his best performance yet. He scored 17 of his career-high 33 points in the third quarter to go with 10 rebounds and the Philadelphia 76ers held off the Brooklyn Nets 108-107 on Sunday night.
The 7’2 Cameroonian was 12-of-17 from the floor, 2-of-3 from beyond the arc and 7-of-8 from the foul line in his latest scintillating performance.

Embiid became the first Sixers rookie to score 30-plus points, secure 10-plus rebounds and block 3-or-more shots in an NBA game. His frontcourt running mate, however, wasn’t as dominant. Jahlil Okafor missed all 10 of his shots from the field and netted just three points. He did pull down 11 rebounds. Sixers head coach Brett Brown commented on the performances from his big men.
Ersan Ilyasova poured in 22 points for the Sixers, who won for the third time in their last 13 games and are tied with the Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks for the fewest wins in the league.
The Sixers sunk all six of their foul shots in the final 12 seconds to seal the win.
