The Sixers FINALLY Won a Road Game!

After 11 months worth of road losses, the Philadelphia 76ers are finally off the schneid.

Joel Embiid didn’t make the offensive impact that we’re all accustomed to, but picked up four blocks, three steals and posted a plus-27 line in all as the Sixers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 99-88 on Thursday night to snap their franchise record-tying 23-game road losing streak.

This block of Anthony Davis was the play of the night.

Embiid had 14 points and seven rebounds, but was just 5-of-15 from the field and 0-of-5 from beyond the arc.

Ersan Ilyasova recorded 23 points and eight rebounds, Sergio Rodriguez provided 16 points and eight assists and Dario Saric added 13 points and five boards for the Sixers, who last won a road game in Orlando against the Magic on Jan. 20.

Davis finished with 26 points and 11 boards for New Orleans, which has dropped four in a row and six of its last seven contests.

Saric put in eight straight points late in the fourth quarter to increase a three-point advantage to 93-83 with 3:50 left after knocking down a 3-pointer.
